About this restaurant
Surrounded by coursing waterfalls, lush gardens and a lagoon, Okada is said to feel miles apart from its Las Vegas location. Situated in the Wynn resort, along side a number of other fine dining restaurants, Chef Masa Ishizawa serves what is described as ‘authentic Teppanyaki and Robata’ cooking. Chef Ishizawa made his reputation in San Francisco at Hotel Nikko, Masa’s and Brasserie Tomo, before he moved to Las Vegas. Expect very high prices.

Chef Masa Ishizawa- I create a unique experience using fresh seasonal ingredients.
Chef Kazu Okada's restaurant is one of several top notch fine dining venues situated within the Wynn luxury hotel and casino resort which is the flagship of Wynn Resorts Ltd.The coursing waterfall and gardens and outside dining bring a small piece of traditional Japan to the Las Vegas strip.
This is an upscale sushi restaurant where a meal for two with drinks is likely to set you back about $140.
Depressingly it displays all the charcteristics of most of these restaurants - a variety of fish who are under pressure in the wild. Bluefin tuna, chilean sea bass, freshwater eel and albacore tuna are all on offer. Predictably there is no sign of any sustainability policy and the restaurant merits a five Red Fish rating.
